Question about a diabetic coma?

this morning i found out that a friend of mine was found on his bathroom floor having seizures, and then a few hours later slipped into a diabetic coma and right now doesn't look good. i don't have a lot of knowledge on diabetics, and i was wondering if anyone knows his chance of survival? he's only 22, and very athletic and healthy but the onset was pretty fast from what i understand. anybody with information would be greatly appreciated. he's a really special person and i hope he pulls through so everybody keep him in your thoughts if you wouldn't mind..
