Why does the guy ALWAYS have to make the first move?

From everything I've heard, guys have to ask girls out, girls don't ask guys out. Girls have no idea how hard it is for guys (me at least) to ask them out. Girls should ask guys out more often, because girls are hott and they should no that and nto be too nervous to ask out guys more often.
