What is up with ESPN?! What more do the Giants need to do ?

I don't care what excuse people use. A bias is a bias. Ok, so there is more money and more interest in East coast teams. I understand that. I understand that ESPN seems to cover the Yankees more. Part of that is because they make the playoffs almost every year. But they also give coverage to teams like Boston, even when they are out of the playoffs. It's ridiculous not to cover the Giants, just because of ratings. Part of their job is to cover sports news, even if the ratings indicate that less viewers are watching. The key word here is LESS, not zero. So, does ESPN want to piss off every fan on the West coast, just because we have less viewers? Would they prefer to have NO West coast viewers? Imagine if the regular West coast news stations did something like that. "A plane crashed in New York today, 200 people are dead. But our ratings indicate that most California residents don't care, so we're going to take you live now to, the Oakland zoo, where two cute little Panda bears were born today." The Giants winning the World Series, is a big sports news story. So, just suck up your little ratings drop and report it already! What do we get instead? Randy Moss is being a d*ck head for thousandth time in his career, so the Vikings cut him. Who gives a flying f*ck? Oh wait! He USED to be on the Patriots. Now I get it. New England is remotely involved, in some sort of, six degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way. "So now we have to show Mr. ME (Moss) giving press conferences about himself all day." "Oh, and speaking of Kevin Bacon, he was once in a movie called Quicksilver about a San Francisco bike messenger, which reminds us that the Giants won some sort of little, baseball game today." "We take you live to New York now, to get a perspective on that game, from some old, retired Yankee, with bushy hair in his ears."
