How to osx convert avi into wav?

yes there is, it just sucks most programs dont have a way to convert any file to any file format.....each one I use seems to be seperate wether converting .flv to .avi or .avi to dvd, etc....I couldn't find any on Cnet.com which they usually have most that I've needed....but try the link below, it says it costs money but it's actually free so try it
