Are black skinny jeans okay if I'm not going for the scene / emo look?

Didn't anyone realize that black skinny jeans actually came into fashion? You won't look like a druggie wearing black skinny jeans/those tops unless your face looks like it. Trust me-you can tell who's a druggie from looking at their face, not necessarily their clothes.
